What We Believe
We believe in the entire bible and that it was divinely inspired and the only infallible authorized Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12, 2 Peter 1:21)
We believe in the eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as one God existing in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit who function as one entity. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Isaiah 43:10-11, Matthew 28:19, Luke 3:22, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that man is redeemed through the blood of Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7, Psalm 51:5, Ecclesiastes 7:29, John 6:44 Romans 3:23, 5:8-21, 1 Corinthians 2:14, 1 John 1:8-10)
We believe that justification for the lost and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. (Luke 7:50, 24:47, Romans 10–13–15, 1 Corinthians 1:18, 2 Corinthians 2:15, Ephesians 2: 8–9, 2 Timothy 1:9, Titus 2:11, 3:5–7)
We believe in the Spirit–filled life, a life separated from the world, a life of holiness in the fear of the Lord. (Romans 8:5, 2 Corinthians 6:14, 7:1, Ephesians 5:18, Philippians 2:12–13, 1 Thessalonians 4:3–7, Hebrews 12:13, 1 John 2:29)
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. (Acts 1:4–8, Acts 2:1–4, Acts 8:14–17, 10:44–46, John 15:26, Matthew 3:11, Luke 24:49, 53)
We believe in the Lord’s Supper, washing of the saints’ feet and water baptism by total immersion; baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 2:38, 8:36, 38, 19:1–6, Mark 1:9–10, Luke 22:17–20, John 3:22–23, 13:4–17, 1 Corinthians 11:23–26, 1 Timothy 5:9–10)
We believe in the personal imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; the saved to everlasting life and the unsaved to everlasting damnation. (Matthew 24:31–46, Acts 1:11, 24:15, Ephesians 2:8–9, Hebrews 9:12, 22, Revelation 22:11)
We believe in bringing tithes and offerings to the house of God (Genesis 14:18–20, 28:20–22, Malachi 3:10, Luke 11:42, 1 Corinthians 9:6–9, 16:2, Hebrews 7:1–21)
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Savior of all men, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified on the cross for our sins, buried, and rose again on the third day and now seated at the right hand of the Father as our intercessor (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:15–23, Luke 1:16–35, John 1:14–18, 3:16, 1 Corinthians 15:1–5, 2 Corinthians 5:21)
